Arctic aerosol processes: Insights from long-term measurements and recent campaigns

Dienstag, 29. Juni 2021, 15:15-16:15
online

This talk will provide an overview on long-term measurements of Arctic aerosol properties. Observations will be discussed in light of a “changing Arctic aerosol baseline” as a result of anthropogenic emission changes as well as Arctic climate change. Interpretation depends strongly on process understanding, where intensive measurement campaigns can provide more detailed information. Recent and preliminary results from the Arctic Ocean 2018 and MOSAiC 2019-2020 efforts will be shown.
