Interfaces are ubiquitous in the environment, ranging from the surface of aerosols, of buildings, … and of course of oceans. They are not only defining the transition between two phases (typically from gas to condensed phases), but they carry also specific physical, chemical, and photochemical properties. This presentation will therefore focus on some newly identified photochemical processing at interfaces and on their impact on the troposphere.
